Clean the surface of the vehicle where the magnets are to be placed. Make sure that there is no dust, snow, ice, salt or dirt left on the car surface once it is dry. To ensure that the magnets will stay firmly in place while driving, check to make sure there are no gaps between the magnet and the vehicle surface (this is especially critical when applying the magnets to curved surfaces of vehicles).
